I am a soon-to-be-former professor of biology with who has been teaching and researching in the areas of ecology, evolution and animal behavior. I have spent the past 30+ years looking closely at the beautiful color patterns of wild guppies. I am now developing my passion for photography in the natural world. I make macro, abstract and black-and-white images featuring both the details and impressions of the beauty of flowers, trees, and other subjects. My images reflect back to you, the viewer, the feelings and resonances that natural forms evoke deep inside me, and my sometimes quirky and ironic view of life.
